October 2010 - Du Cane Associates have been confirmed as one of the speakers at Oxford University's second Begbroke Transfer event.
The event aims to support the development of technology start-up companies. It will be held at the University's Begbroke Science Park in Oxford, 18 November.
The event entitled "Buiding a Business - Next Steps to Success" is aimed at technology start-up companies who are up and running but looking to take things to the next level. Led by industry experts, this day-long event will give delegates insights into selling themselves and their products internationally, how to attract future investment whilst protecting their IP, and will include case studies looking at the challenges facing young businesses in this area.
Peter Lloyd, Director of Du Cane Associates, will be speaking on the subject of Global Markets. He will draw upon Du Cane's experience in helping businesses to grow through international trade, offering insights and advice on the practical and strategic issues facing fledgling technology companies considering trading internationally.
